I recommend the Brophy # HSAB. This does not show in the fit guide for a 5-1/2' bed as that short of bed is not generally used for truck campers. So you have to go by how they install to finish verifying. The external bed rail width cannot be more than 5-1/2 inches wide. There will need to be at least 2 inches space under the lip of the bed rail. This install by clamping onto the bed rails of your truck, no drilling required.

The Air Lift Air Shock Controller Compressor System # AL25804 can be connected directly to the battery on your 2016 Nissan Titan XD. Do understand that this may cause a power draw on your battery when it is parked.
